Jed Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Jed Sauvignon Blanc is typical of the fresh and vibrant white wines produced in the cool climate region of the Uco Valley. With a broad flavour spectrum (grassy - ripe pineapple) this is a great food wine. Sancerre inspired ,10% of the wine is matured in French oak (for texture) and Acacia (white flower aroma) for 6 months. Brilliant straw in colour. Fresh lime and pineapple aromas with hints of pink grapefruit. Fresh flavours of lime and pink grapefruit carry onto the palate with delicate mineral undertones. The mouth-feel is fresh and crisp and is supported by sound fruit weight. Vibrant acidity is balanced by subtle complexity on the mid palate which is followed by a clean finish.
