It’s testament to the quality of early ripening season as well as the considerable vine age (28 years) that grape flavours peaked early allowing picking before sugar and alcohol skyrocketed so avoiding …an unbalanced wines. The 08 shows lime, flowers and bath salts on the nose and has a full yet soft and delicate palate ( fruit purity of lime and lemon)..It finishes with crisp acidity…”. Stephen George.
