In terms of the flavour themselves it’s a little porty and overdone for my tastes, but the way the tannin drags through the mouth – combined with the immense power of the fruit flavour itself – excuses it (almost) entirely. There’s a sense of gravitas to this wine. And it has terrific length. 94 points".
