From low yielding vines, hand picked, sorted with some rigorous fruit selection. 70% is matured in new French oak for 18 months. Only 10 barrels were made. Cab Franc loves a cool inland climate and that is exactly what it gets in the Uco Valley. Overt aromas of mixed herbs/dried mint and cassis. Concentrated purity of fruit, velvety tannins and great length. RRP: $36
