“Good bright colour; a fragrant bouquet with the Spinifex stamp all over it, the texture silky and fine, the fruit flavours in a seamless whole ranging from light red to dark black, tannins playing a wholly positive role. Tempranillo/Graciano/Carignan/Cabernet Sauvignon. Rating 94” James Halliday.

An exotic blend of “Espana” : Tempranillo, Graciano, Carignan, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Sweet aromatics followed by complex, layered palate with dark cherries, stewed plums and savoury, almost beefy flavours. Beautiful structure and a long, refreshing finish. Drinking well now or cellar for 5 years. Winemaker Pete Schell says he wanted to make a wine that was – big, gutsy and upfront... hence “Taureau” – The Bull was born!
