Dry grown low yielding ( 1.5 tonnes/acre) Clare Valley shiraz at it's best...concentrated, velvety, hints of fresh mint, balanced by ripe tannins. This wine has transformed into a complex velvety red of lush ripe fruit and beautifully integrated oak. The refreshing backbone of natural acidity has kept this red young and exhuberent.....this red is drinking beautifully now (not showing any dried fruit characters yet and has got easily another 5 years if you are very disciplined).
