Bold, seductive aromas that run from Indian spice to red berries to briar and back to herbs. It’s complex and heady, yet inviting, with plumes of scent evoking the character of the wine from afar. One of those you can whiff from the table. The palate is firm yet layered, with a textural feel that moves in an ovoid fashion – it opens with blueberry and mulberry, plumes into a soft yet dense pouch of fruit and spice, then finishes lithe and earthy, yet lingers with a very fine trail of sweet raspberry.
