Dry grown low yielding shiraz from their old dry grown vineyard planted in 1973 Dark cherry, plum, black pepper with complex leather and savoury meaty characters after a couple of years in French oak. Plenty of fine grained tannins and seamless texture reminded me of a fine Hermitage from the Rhone. Decanting this wine is a must and drink with roast lamb. This wine will cellar for 10 yrs. Stock is limited.
