Premium parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon from Mount Barker and Frankland River in WA's Great Southern Region. The individual parcels of fruit were given a special pre-ferment soak resulting in a gentler extraction of tannins, whilst enhancing fruit intensity. 20 months in French oak and rigorous selection of the best barrels produced top pedigree cabernet. Complex, perfumed nose of cassis, mint, cedar and tobacco with seamless, textured palate, long finish fine grained tannins. Decant this wine or cellar for 10 years. Favourite red in our recent Harewood tasting 91 pts Halliday.
