Granrojo is a determined winery that are making some very tidy wines. 100% garnacha, an expression of selected fruit from the vineyards ( Fruit hails from D.O. Valdapenas, south of Madrid not far from La Mancha) -Floral-geranium, bright red fruits, mace spice and crunchy-dusty raspberries and some savoury characters. Medium bodied, perfectly defined clean fruit with soft tannins. This bargain was a hit at our tasting and is a delight to drink! Bring on the jamon, pizza and pasta.
