Halliday is impressed with this Adelaide Hills vineyard and olive oil producer, awarding Bird in Hand the highest 5 star winery rating. 2007 was hot and dry and great for fruit ripeness- winemaker Andrew Nugent says “2007 vintage was their best vintage yet”. Newly released 07 is a baby but a spectacular follow on from 06 (Halliday 95pts and Best of the Best).

Intense varietal expression of dark berries, plums, hint of garden mint, tobacco cigar box and a briary earthy character .Textured and elegant palate ( great acid) and a long finish, fine grained tannins and seamless french oak. One for the cellar-recommend cellaring for up to 12 yrs.
