The “Estate” wine comes from Ashton Hill's 29 year old vineyard and is made from low-bearing vines followed by maturation in French oak. Cellar this for up to 5 yrs. Spectacular 2009 vintage resulted in all 18 pinot clones used.

Happy result is a gorgeous pinot of great depth of flavour, complexity, finesse and tension. Thrilling wine and with some time will reveal more dimensions. Designed for cellaring up to 5 yrs-the structure of this 09 will enable it to age much longer.
