This fine wine has come into its own! Gorgeous synergy of rich black fruits, spice, complexity, finesse with great power/length, firm, silky tannins balanced by raspberry freshness on the finish. Balestri Valda’s 20 hectares of vineyards are located to the north of Soave, from Mount Carniga to below Castelcerino near Verona (best sites in the region) and Soave is Italy’s most famous white wine. Bursts with zesty citrus, green apples, spring flowers and some more-ish nuttiness and texture on the palate (thanks to 6 months in slovanian oak). Love the quality, balance and price here ! Newly released 2010 vintage from highly respected Burgundy producer has the goods! 2009 release was very popular last year - 2010 was another great season in Burgundy-this 2010 is more refined, precise and structured. Agnes De Cervera ‘La Petite Agnes’ Priorat Garnacha 2011 Our Special Price $25.99
Agnes de Cervera is a family-owned property in the centre of Priorat, famed Spanish wine region just outside Barcelona. This fine medium bodied vino tinto comprises 85% Garnacha and 15% Samsó (spanish name for carignan) followed by a brief stint in French barriques: Juicy wine brimming with purity of fruit…plush black cherries, plums, framed by classic refreshing raspberry crunch and characteristic terroir mineral tariness. This is delicious (typical Priorat) and terrific value!
